Directory Administrator is an easy to use, graphical, LDAP directory management tool. It can be used to manage UNIX users and groups, corporate address book information, host-based access control and email routing for large organizations, etc.

Directory Administrator runs on Linux, BSD, etc.

Directory Administrator does not currently work with OpenLDAP 2.2 or newer, unless schema checking is disabled. Set "schemacheck off" in the slapd.conf and restart OpenLDAP. Directory Administrator does not have a problem working with any other LDAP server.

4 August 2005 - 1.7.1 This release adds Samba 3 support and a few minor fixes.

26 February 2005 - The Directory Administrator project has been moved completely off of SourceForge
